Izabella & Kevin

Izabella & Kevin have lived between Ottawa & Boston for the last several years for work and family.  When COVID hit, they decided to take the restricted travel and start getting more active while discovering the mountains, hiking and skiing.  Little did they know that a passion would arise and before they knew it, they could just get enough of being in the mountains.

The feeling of serenity  and grounding it provided them individually and as a couple became their escape, their oasis.  Upon looking at ideas to tie the knot, knowing that family & Friends where anywhere and everywhere between Ottawa, Brazil, Boston it made them anchor into that feeling they both had when alone in the mountains…from there the idea of an elopement surrounded by mountains landscape became their wish and their hope.

With a little help from google and social media, they quickly found The Whistler Elopement Company nestled in the gorgeous mountain ranges in Whistler Blackcomb. 

The rest was the easy and fun part.

Our On The Slopes Elopement was exactly what they were looking for.  A Full Service that would look after every detail and allow them to experience a day on the mountain on their skis, guided with our photographer ( whom happen to be an ex-national team athlete freestyle skier), Our planner and owner Rachael ( mountain host and avid skier), Celebrant extraordinaire, Linda ( a retired ski instructor) and our videographer, Matt ( freelancer for the likes of Arc’teryx, Whistler/Blackcomb to name a few)….needless to say, Izabella & Kevin were going to be in good hands with our amazing multi-talented local team of vendors.

They decided to stay at one of our favourite Boutique Hotel in Creekside Nita Lake Lodge, a favorite of ours for the warm, cozy atmosphere, the welcoming staff and their typical après ski Cure Lounge & Patio.
